Role
As an Approved Subcontractor engaged on specific projects by our Workshop Supervisor, you will provide your expertise to assist in the successful assembly of Control Panels and associated automation equipment in compliance with designs and specifications alongside a team of fellow technicians and labourers.
About You
Already an experienced worker, you will demonstrate your capabilities through submission of your portfolio/CV demonstrating your time working in a similar industrial sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, modify, test and repair a variety of electrical Control Panels and automation equipment
- Communicate and adopt safe systems of work (RAMS)
- Observe the requirements of any Permit to Work issued by site Duty Holders
- Follow efficient work procedures and techniques
- Engage in the determination of work rotas and assignment of tasks
- Assess tasks for completeness and report any issues or variations
- Ensure all tools and equipment in use is certified and/or calibrated
- Maintain positive relationships with fellow workers and other third parties
- Undertake specialist training as required and keep up to date with statutory and legislative requirements
- Demonstrate and apply the principles of continuous improvement to achieve ‘Best Practice’
Job requirements
You will need
- Evidence of your right to work in the UK
- A valid CSCS affiliated Health & Safety card (Mandatory)
- A comprehensive toolkit for completing Control Panel assemblies
- Experience of working on own initiative
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- To be a team player and customer focused
Qualifications and Licences
- Level 3 Electro Mechanical qualification (Desirable)
